In March, Vivo has launched the Vivo V9 that captures perfect shots through its 24-megapixel A.I-powered selfie camera. Comes with the A.I.Face Beauty solution, the device offers natural-looking self-photos as it banks on a database of almost one million facial images. This allows its camera to accurately detect gender, age, skin tone, texture, and lighting environment.

Then, Vivo unleashed its X21, which sports an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also comes with AI Scene Recognition that goes beyond night, sport, vibration, or backlit scenarios. It can detect and identify 18 tags and 140 scenarios including portraits, food, and plants, too.

However, what seems to be its major innovation to date is its Vivo NEX smartphone line. It is equipped with the world’s first 8-megapixel elevating front camera, bezel-less Ultra FullView Display with a 91.24% screen-to-body ratio, and in-display fingerprint scanning technology.
