| Xiaomi Is Bringing the Mi MIX 3's Camera Software to the Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8 |
In case you missed it, the Mi MIX 3 got an overall 103 points on DxOMark, while its photo and video scores reached 108 and 93 points, respectively. To treat its loyal fans, on the other hand, the company announced that it will update its Mi Mix 2S and Mi 8 devices with the new more optimized processing from the Mi MIX 3.
Xiaomi also explained that it’s possible since its latest flag-bearer smartphone shares the same camera modules with its two former phones. The three devices sport a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 CMOS sensor and a secondary Samsung S5K3M3 telephoto lens.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi didn’t mention when it will roll out its update.
