Magic UI 2.0 promises to work as “a next generation AI-powered system.” However, right now, its differences from EMUI 9.0 are only seen on its new color scheme, new labels, and fonts. Nevertheless, Honor will more likely to introduce new features gradually.

The new software update also marked Honor’s first departure from Huawei’s EMUI.

As a quick refresher, the Honor Magic 2 comes with a sliding design and in-display fingerprint scanner to flash an all-screen display. Dressed with a premium design, the device flaunts a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
