Let’s start with its design. Both Huawei and OPPO didn’t compensate their looks. You won’t even think that these devices are cheaper than their typical mid-range phones. However, one of the impressive things about the Huawei Y9 (2019) is that it still features a Full HD+ display compared with the OPPO A7’s just HD+ panel. The Y9 even has a bigger 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, resulting to 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the Y9 is also packed with a more capable 64-bit Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Nevertheless, thanks to OPPO’s Hyper Boost technology, which allows the A7 to offer a smooth gaming experience although it has a dated Snapdragon 450 chipset. Meanwhile, the rivals have the same 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but the Y9 (2019) would allow users to further expand their storage up to 400GB, while the A7 is limited only up to 256GB.
