The Huawei Y9 2019 is part of the entry-level Y series of the brand, and as of this writing, it sits at the top and billed as the first device for next year. It flaunts a huge 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution, has 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a small notch up top.
Under the hood, it is powered by Huawei's very own HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa core chip, the same silicon found inside the Huawei Nova 3i and Honor 8X. The JKM-LX2 model, which is the variant that will be available in the Philippines, has 4GB of volatile memory and 64 GB of on board storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top.

Camera wise, it has a total of four sensors - 13MP f/1.8 + 2MP f/2.4 modules are mounted on its back, and 16MP f/2.0 + 2MP f/2.4 are placed in the front. Other notable specs are 4000mAh battery, dedicated slot for storage expansion, and fingerprint sensor.
It will be up for pre-order from November 11 to 15, and will be available on the 16th. Those who will reserve their unit will get a Bluetooth speaker worth Php1,490. Huawei has revealed the retail price, but it is listed for Php12,990 at Lazada.
