Sharp Aquos R2 Compact with Dual Notches Unveiled |
The Sharp Aquos R2 Compact might raise your eyebrows once you see its dual notches on the front. Its tiny notch on its top accommodates its selfie camera, while its wide notch below houses its fingerprint scanner. It’s somehow hard to swallow, when they could simply put its fingerprint sensor on the back, right?
On a brighter side, the device is dominated by its 5.2-inch FHD+ IGZO panel with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10 compatibility. Under the hood, it carries a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with Adreno 630 graphics. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, too. The latter is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

Jumping off to its camera department, the Aquos R2 Compact comes with 22.6-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. In terms of its stamina, on the other hand, it boasts an underwhelming 2500mAh battery to accompany users on their daily tasks.
Meanwhile, the Sharp Aquos R2 Compact is expected to be available only in Japan.
Is it a yay or nay?
