Looking back, 2018 introduced us with new innovations that elevated the smartphone scene. Many mobile manufactures launched a unique trick to steal consumers’ attention, and this led to a never ending roller coaster trend.

Now, Argomall has shared its 2019 smartphone predictions to tease consumers about the things that we are going to see on upcoming handsets. Continue to read, and gain some ideas!

Smartphone brands marked 2018 as the year of the notch, as they unleashed great devices that were mounted with a notch to deliver an impressive screen-to-body ratio. This year, we can expect them to upgrade their offerings by delivering a real all-screen display. Hence, farewell, bezels! And maybe, goodbye notch, too.

But, really, they will not stop there. In fact, consumers can expect to see foldable screens, and dual displays technology. And since more screen means less space to accommodate different hardware, upcoming devices will more likely to pack face unlock technology complemented with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

A more powerful stamina is needed to run these devices with bigger screens. So, the market can soon be dominated by smartphones with longer battery capacity.

Under the hood, smartphone brands will obviously load their devices with powerful internals. The good news? Their rivalries will benefit consumers. Why? Because their competition will pressure more brands to drop devices with competitive asking price. Argomall added that upcoming smartphones tagged at Php10K are expected to carry an on-board storage of up to 128GB and more, while flagship devices we’ll be coupled with up to 10GB of RAM.

And of course, just like last year, upcoming handsets will be backed with A-grade cameras with various smartphones carrying more than five shooters around second half of 2019.

Micro-USB connectors will be a thing of the past, too, as fast charging technology will now steal the spotlight.
