The Honor Play 8A flashes a 6.09-inch HD+ panel with 1560 x 720 pixels. Unlike its predecessor, the device comes with a teardrop notch, which was almost identical to OPPO’s waterdrop notch, and Vivo’s Halo display.

Under the hood, the Play 8A is powered by a Helio P35 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. This is paired with IMG GE8320 graphics, coupled with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 512GB.

Jumping off to its photography department, the device is mounted with a 13-megapixel f/1.8 rear shooter, and an 8-megapixel f/2.0 selfie snapper. The handset boasts 3020mAh battery to power up the unit, too.

Meanwhile, the unit has no fingerprint scanner. Good thing, it supports Face Unlock technology for an additional security option.

The Honor Play 8A is priced at CNY 799 (~Php6K), and is now available in China for pre-order.
