The device comes with refreshing color variants such as emerald green, midnight black, and phantom purple – which are all inspired by colorful neon nights to give a youthful look. It is dressed with nano-vacuum Optical Coating Process, too.
Moving on to its display, the handset features a 6.1-inch IPS LTPS panel with 19:9 screen aspect ratio, and 1280 x 600 pixels. Doogee mounted it with a waterdrop notch, as well, resulting to an impressive 89.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Inside, the Doogee Y8 carries a 64-bit MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and is paired with PowerVR GE100 graphics. The unit is also coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage, making sure that it can handle your mobile activities decently. Powering up the device, on the other hand, is a 3400mAh battery.

Jumping off to its photography department, the Doogee Y8 sports a dual-rear camera setup composed of an 8-megapixel main sensor and 5-megapixel secondary shooter for its bokeh effect. It has a good 5-megapixel selfie snapper, too, that supports 80-degree wide-angle mode.
