Realme to Launch Its 48MP Smartphone in 2019

Realme successfully made its name known in the industry through its capable smartphones with affordable price tags. However, the brand is undeniably still searching for a breakthrough device that will allow them to battle out its rivals, and to be able to enjoy its spotlight.

Having a successful debut year, the company will surely become more aggressive in launching great smartphones that are tagged with competitive asking price. In fact, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the Realme 3 is already set to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2019.

Sheth didn’t reveal much about their upcoming device, but rumors suggest that it will still sport a notch on top of its panel, and a dual-rear camera setup. These were supported by Sheth’s statement that the company didn’t see any value in some smartphone tricks such as the punch-hole camera, and triple-lens.

Meanwhile, Sheth claimed that Realme is also working on a 48-megapixel smartphone, which will be launched this year. If it’s true, the company will be one of the first mobile manufacturers to mount its device with a 48-megapixel shooter. First companies to unleash this offering were HiSense, Huawei, and Redmi.
