Samsung recently launched its new
Galaxy S10 series composed of the regular
Galaxy S10,
Galaxy S10+ model, and its toned-down version, the
Galaxy S10e. Aside from its powerful offerings, the Korean mobile maker also packed it with an impressive camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy S10 First Camera Samples |
Banked with great photography capabilities, our team was able to play around with the Galaxy S10 to test its actual performance. But before that, let’s have a quick recap.
The Galaxy S10 wasn’t the first Samsung device to boast a triple-rear camera setup. In case you missed it, the
Galaxy A7 (2018) was the brand’s first triple-lens smartphone, while the
Galaxy A9 (2018) became the world’s first handset to feature a quad-camera design. These units were the brand’s answer to the industry’s latest trend, and of course, to its rival
Huawei which is known for producing A+ photography-centric devices.
Now, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 series with superior camera sensors than its Galaxy A-smartphone line. For instance, the S10 is geared with a
12-megapixel Dual Pixel (f/1.5 f/2.4) wide camera,
16-megapixel f/2.2 Ultra Wide shooter, and
12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens. It also features a Pro Camcorder that can shoot UHD videos up to 60fps, while it supports
HDR 10+ video, and
SuperSteady action cam in FHD.
Meanwhile, for selfies, it sports a
10-megapixel f/1.9 snapper.

Triple Shooters |
Samsung was able to give an outstanding camera performance. It has great ultra-wide, and zooming capabilities that can surely elevate your mobile photography experience.
When using its wide-angle lens, you’d notice that images would have a distortion or a fisheye effect. It’s cool though, plus it really allows users to capture more. Its telephoto lens also performed great during our tests. We observed that even at 10x zoom, the device can produce clear photos as long as good lighting was provided. On the other hand, noises became visible in low light but it’s still manageable.
Using its 10x zoom, you’d see that photos were still rich in details and colors, too.

Moving on to its front camera, the S10 was able to deliver natural-looking photos. It won’t overdo your selfies even if it enhances your facial features such as removing your blemishes. Its selfie snapper had an impressive output in low light as well.
So, is it a yay or nay? Let us know what you think!
