Summarizing its long list of specs and features, the main selling points of the Canon EOS RP are its 26.2-megapixel sensor with DIGIC 8 processor and Auto Lighting Optimizer feature. It also has a shooting speed of 5fps complemented with a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with 4479 autofocus points. For its ISO range, the Canon EOS RP has 100-40000. The EOS RP also shoots in Ultra High Definition 4K at 24p/25p video footage.

“The addition of the EOS RP to Canon’s growing range of EOS full-frame system is not only a testament to the brand’s commitment of continuously pushing forward the frontiers of photography but is also in line with our goal of further extending access to photography for aspiring photographers. Smaller, lighter, and more affordable, the EOS RP will surely delight photography professionals and enthusiasts alike,” said Benny Yu, Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc.
