Nimo TV has teamed up with AliSports to become its official broadcasting partner of the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) 2019 in Chongqing, China.

The live streaming giant continues to cement its global presence in the eSports industry. To prove this, Nimo TV was able to get the rights to cover and broadcast the WESG event through the app. This allows fans and viewers to have a faster and more convenient blow-by-blow update of the said tournament.

“We are excited bringing WSEG 2019 to everyone in Nimo TV,” Henry Zhao, Nimo TV Overseas Executive, addressed. “Nimo TV and AliSports share a common goal of bringing eSports closer to the world, and we believe that this partnership made us achieve our goal.”

In case you missed it, WSEG series was established by AliSports in 2016. It is an international gaming tournament that holds the highest prize pool of any third-party competition across multiple titles worth USD 5.5 million.

The tournament features an Olympic style where it follows the Olympic standard. This means that teams must consist of players from one nationality to highlight their national pride, and encourage fans to join the competition.

The WESG 2019 is slated on March 7 to March 17, 2019.
