| Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Comes with Pre-installed Screen Protector |
We all knew that one of the key selling points of the Galaxy S10 series is its new Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner. Unlike other in-display fingerprint sensors, the Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor is said to recognize the 3D characteristics of the actual fingerprint. Through this, Samsung promised that users no longer have to wipe and clean their registered fingers every time they will unlock their phone.
Unfortunately, it seems like the said technology won’t function as impressive as it can if consumers will use a conventional screen protector. With this, the Korean tech giant has announced that the Galaxy S10 series comes with a pre-applied screen protector manufactured by Samsung itself.
“This decision was made to increase overall customer experiences with the improved screen durability and full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxt S10+,” posted on its Samsung Members website.

However, the screen protector was not covered under warranty, but it will be available for replacement for USD29.99 (~Php1.6K).
Meanwhile, Samsung has encouraged its carriers and retail partners to sell Samsung-branded screen protectors as the replacement option in stores.
