On its Twitter thread, the company explained that they are focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. They also assured users that the issue is not related to a DDoS attack. Are you convinced? In case you didn’t know, DDoS happened when a network is overloaded with a traffic designed to interrupt its service.

Currently, Facebook and Instagram systems are down for several hours already, noting that we start losing access since midnight, March 14.
