Messenger has finally rolled out its Dark Mode feature in the Philippines. However, unlike other updates, this will remain a secret until you decided to set your emoji to moon. Clever, isn’t it?

To enable the feature, users simply have to choose a certain conversation on his or her list, which could be a personal message or group chat. Then, change your emoji to moon. After setting it, send the moon emoji to your friend, click it once delivered, and wait for the “falling moons.”

Messenger will then notify users that they can now activate its Dark Mode on the app's settings. Once enabled, the feature will work even if you change the moon emoji into heart, thumbs up, or whatever.

Turning off the Dark Mode is easy as well. You simply have to go to your Messenger Settings, and you will see an option to toggle it off.
