ASUS Launches Biggest Nationwide Mobile Photo Marathon |
The company is collaborating with the ZenFone PixelMasters for the massive event set to be held in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao starting this April.
All ZenFone users -- from the first generation to the current series -- and even non-ZenFone users are welcome to join the marathon, which is the culmination of the renowned PixelMaster Class.
The eight-month campaign aimed to develop the photography skills of budding ZenFone mobile photographers with help from esteemed names in the industry, namely: Ricky Ladia for Travel Photography, Arlene Donaire for Visual Story Telling, Jasper Tejano for Street Photography, Emir Kahn Bautista for Wedding Photography, Dail Deri for Conceptual Photography, Ken Go for Portraiture, Jay Ermitaño for Documentary Photography, and Nicco Valenzuela for Landscape Photography.
The grand prize winner will be given Php15,000 in cash, a DJI Osmo Mobile 2, and an all-expense paid local trip for one. The runner-up will receive Php5,000 and mobile photography accessories, while the third placer will get Php5,000.
Interested participants are required to sign up as an official member of the ASUS ZenTalk Forum and sign up at the official microsite at http://www.asuspixelmasterclass.com/.

They are only eligible to win the main prizes if they are ZenFone users. However, limited slots will be opened to non-ZenFone users who will get to successfully register. These non-ZenFone users will be lent a ZenFone, but they will only be eligible to win the minor prizes.
Registration is open until April 20, but ASUS will be notifying shortlisted participants as early as April 5.
During the marathon, each leg will have their own theme and the participants are asked to submit their chosen photos from the photo walk within the day of the event.
