Starpod, a media, influencers, and talents network, hailed the successful hosting of the event from April 11 to 13 at the LIMKETKAI MALL Rotunda, Cagayan De Oro City, in partnership with The Explorer's Channel and Vivo.

Under the theme "Shaping the Era of the New Media," Starpod invited popular influencers, bloggers and top names online, as well as local brands and businesses, to help aspiring bloggers and vloggers through a three-day workshop.

The event also featured exhibits of businesses, brands, companies and market services.

On the final day of the event, founder and chief executive officer Arvin Dimante introduced the Starpod application that "will connect media talents and the brands."

“In Starpod, we want to build a community wherein itong mga (these) professionals will help the young generation... We need to help each one to create good content and to be responsible media,” Dimate said.

On the same day, awards were presented to the winners of several competitions, including the Vivo V15 Pro Mobile Photography Challenge won by Tony Escol.

For only Php23,999, users will have a 48MP triple rear camera that boasts artificial intelligence and next level mobile photography with 2MP standard + 8MP super wide-angle + 5MP depth-sensing camera setup.

To deliver high-quality 12MP images, the Vivo V15 Pro's main rear camera has a 4-in-1 pixel technology. It means that one large pixel is combined with four pixels so that even in low light or even dark conditions, the images will still come out better.

It also has a Professional Mode feature that rivals the function of DSLR cameras.

Starpod plans to take BlogCon PH to other parts of the country to promote online media.
