| Taiwan Excellence Hosts Series of Webinars Highlighting Smart Medical Products |
Recognizing what needs to be done during the global health crisis and maximizing the 5G trend, the said webinars put the spotlight on Taiwan’s smart medical technologies, including surgeries and medical devices. The one-hour webinar, which is part of a series of events hosted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), also emphasizes Taiwan’s efforts to boost economic activities amid the global health crisis, which almost put the world in a global standstill.

Among the products introduced include Mediland’s surgical tables and surgical lights, MediaTek’s MonoStereo endoscopic visualization system, Asiatic Fiber’s PPE textiles, and surgical textiles, and suction machines used in Operating Rooms or ORs from Doctor’s Friend Medical Instruments -- which are all poised as smart medical solutions for hospitals and medical institutions.
Over 1,700 viewers attended the said webinar with online participants from the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Germany. TAITRA said that it will be hosting more webinars in the future that would bring the discussion further about technologically-advanced medical equipment, beauty, and eye care products, as well as assisting devices for the elderly, and dentistry equipment.
