| Mayor Isko Inks Partnership with Smart to Provide Free WiFi in Manila |
The official signing was graced by PLDT President Manuel Pangilinan and Mayor Isko at the Manila city hall to discuss its project.
During the press briefing, Mayor Isko explained that the free WiFi can be accessed for 30 minutes per day in six areas in Manila. Here are the following spots:
- Manila City Hall
- Ospital ng Maynila
- Tondo Medical Center
- Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center
- Universidad de Manila
- Museo Pambata
“This partnership will empower Filipinos across the city who can use it to keep in touch with their families or connect their workplaces and further businesses,” Smart addressed.

In case you missed it, President Rodrigo Rodrigo signed the Free Internet Access Program Act last year, with a goal to establish free WiFi hot spots in public areas.
