OPPO Is the Top Mobile Brand in the Philippines |
Canalys has revealed the top three vendors and smartphone market share in top five Southeast Asian markets for Q2 2019. The study showed that Chinese brands took 60% of the region, while we can observe that Samsung – the world’s biggest mobile company – still dominates the list.
In the local market, OPPO took the lead with its 28% recorded unit share, followed by Samsung and Vivo, which have 19% and 17% market share, respectively.
Canalys also shared that SEA achieved most growth in Asia, and Greater China. Samsung still leads the market with 7.7 million units record, while OPPO is close enough as it shipped 7.3 millions units in Q2 2019.
