PayMaya has officially teamed up with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), introducing Filipino taxpayers to a more convenient payment option. With this partnership, Filipinos can now pay their BIR taxes through the PayMaya app.

Here’s how you can pay your BIR taxes via the PayMaya app


Paying your BIR taxes through the PayMaya app is as easy as shopping online. By going to the Bills Pay section of the app, individual taxpayers can now skip long queues to pay their taxes anywhere using only their smartphone anytime, 24/7.

  • Log in to your PayMaya account and click on the “Pay Bills” option
  • Look for the BIR logo or type BIR in the search box
  • Enter all pertinent details for your tax payment, including your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Branch Code, Amount, Revenue District Office (RDO) code, Form Series, Form Type, Tax Type, and Return Period.
  • Enter the email address where you want to receive the receipt for your payment
  • Verify the information you entered and click “Pay”
  • A notification will be sent via the app, to your SMS, and to the email address you entered as proof of your payment

Easy, isn’t it? There’s more! Account holders who will pay their BIR taxes via PayMaya on February 15, 16, 22, 23, and 29 are entitled to a one-time Php100 cashback if their BIR payment is among the first three unique bill payments made during the period.

To qualify for the cashback, all you have to do is pay at least Php1,000 for your tax payments.
