| Smart Begins Commercial Rollout of Voice-Over-WiFi; Now Available for Postpaid Subs |
In case you missed it, VoWiFi or also known as WiFi Calling is simply the process where consumers make and receive calls and SMS through their WiFi connection. They also don’t have to install a third-party app, as Smart allows them to use their device’s native dialer.

Initially available only to Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy Note 9, the Smart VoWiFi is now also available on other smartphone brands, namely Huawei with their Mate 10, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and P30 series, and the TCL with its PLEX T780H.
Moreover, it is now available for commercial use, starting with Smart Signature and Smart Infinity subscribers.
