| Vivo Unveils Future-Proof Apex 2020 |
Introduced to the world through a special announcement website, the Vivo APEX 2020 carries different technological breakthroughs, especially on its display and design. The said smartphone has a 120-degree FullView Edgeless Display with its side edges and bezels removed from the front view, emphasizing further its 6.45-inch curved display.
Its Super Unibody Design is made without holes and openings on it since the APEX 2020 is equipped with an In-Display Camera and Vivo’s Wireless super FlashCharge technology. The smartphone’s physical buttons are all replaced by a pressure sensing button to give the smartphone a smooth form factor.
According to Vivo’s General Manager of Product Harry Hong, the APEX 2020 is proof of the brand’s capability to push the boundaries of mobile technology.

In terms of its cameras, the APEX 2020 combines high resolution and high image quality with its 5x - 7.5x Continuous Optical Zoom feature, becoming the world’s first smartphone to have such magnification technology. It can achieve continuous optical zoom under high magnifications between 5x-7.5x and produce images in high resolution and quality rather than filling focal lengths through digital magnification. It enables users to preserve the clarity of all moments by effectively enhancing every detail.

Another notable camera feature of APEX 2020 is its 4-group lens combination with two fixed lenses and two movable lenses that work together to achieve high-magnification continuous zoom and real-time focus simultaneously. The smartphone’s entire camera module is only 6.2mm-thick, making it possible for a high-end, professional-grade lens to be incorporated inside the ultra-thin body of the APEX 2020. The said smartphone also has an advanced algorithm on its camera that allows sceneries to be easily captured even from afar.
Addressing blurred videos and images due to shaky hands, APEX 2020 comes with a Gimbal-Stabilizing Main camera which ensures optical stabilization in the front-back and left-right inclined directions with enhanced performance. Lab tests demonstrate that compared to the traditional OIS system, its stabilization angle is 200% extended. In addition, image integrity is preserved to a greater extent.
On top of all of these, the APEX 2020 comes with Vivo’s very own Wireless Super FlashCharge 60W technology which equates a 20-minute charge to a fully-refueled 2,000mAh battery. The APEX 2020 also has features for photography and productivity like Screen SoundCasting Technology, Instant Photobomb Removal, and Voice Tracking Auto-Focus.
