Last May 21, Huawei Philippines unveiled its latest budget-friendly tablet offering, the Huawei MatePad T 8. And today, they finally revealed that it will be available this coming June 1.

The Huawei MatePad T 8, as the name implies, sports an 8.0-inch display with HD+ resolution, that is 1280 x 800 pixels, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. On the inside, it is powered by Mediatek MT8768, which has 2.0GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8320 graphics. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB of expandable storage, and runs on EMUI 10 based on Android 10.

This entry-level tablet is equipped with a 5MP f/2.2 rear camera for taking snapshots whenever the user needs one, and a 2MP f/2.4 module is mounted in the front for taking selfies and video calls.

The other specs are 4G/LTE connectivity, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, MicroUSB with OTG function, expandable storage, and massive 5,100mAh battery.
