The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is relatively closer to the Redmi Note 9s in terms of specs and features. Both devices have lots in common, such as the 6.67-inch FHD+ DotDisplay, octa-core Snapdragon 720G chipset, the same amount of RAM, and storage, and 16MP selfie snapper, and 5,020mAh hour battery.
Moreover, Note 9 Pro and Note 9s have the same exact body measurements and weigh the same. Not only that, but the position of all the ports and buttons are also identical too. This means that you won't really recognize, which is which. Unless otherwise, you are looking at the exclusive color of each phone - Tropical Green for the 9 Pro and Aurora Blue for the 9s.
So what are the upgrades of the pro variant? It has a 64MP rear quad camera setup as compared to the 48MP quad setup of the Note 9s. Another thing is that it supports 30W fast charging, whereas the 9s only support 18W.
