The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s is the global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro that was launched in India last March. Yes, Xiaomi naming their phones in different parts of the world is quite confusing, but they have been like that for as long as we can remember.
It has a 6.67-inch DotDisplay, Xiaomi's term for punch-hole display, with FHD+ resolution, that is 2400 x 1080 pixels and has a 91% screen-to-body ratio. It is housed in a plastic frame and then sandwiched by two 3D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, which is based on an 8nm FinFET process with a 2.3GHz octa-core Kryo 465 CPU, Adreno 618 graphics, and 5th generation Qualcomm AI engine. In terms of memory, it is available in two options - 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
As for the camera department, which is one of the many highlights of the Redmi Note 9s, it is equipped with rear quad shooters. It is composed of a 48MP primary with a 1/2-inch sensor, a 119-degree 8MP module, an autofocus 5MP dedicated macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, a 16MP front snapper will take care of your selfie needs.
Another main selling point is the 5,020mAh battery, which, according to Xiaomi, can last for more than 2 days. It supports 18W fast charging and comes with a 22.5W charger in the package. Moreover, Xiaomi boasts that the Redmi Note 9s is one of the slimmest phones in the market with that amount of batter at only 8.8mm thin.
Other notable features are the side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and IR remote blaster. It is available in three color options, namely Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Grey.
