The Huawei MatePad is the non-professional sibling of the MatePad Pro that was unveiled locally last April. And, since there is no "pro" connected on its name, it simply means it is more affordable than its brother. Don't get us wrong, it may be less expensive, but it still packs lots of features that will surely attract lots of consumers.
It packs a 10.4-inch display with 2K resolution, that is 2000 x 1200 pixels, has a 5:3 aspect ratio, and 84% screen-to-body ratio. In addition, it also equipped with four high amplitude speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and quad-array microphones. Moreover, it has an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and ultrawide 8MP front camera, making the MatePad ideal for both entertainment and learning.

On the inside, it is powered 2.27GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 chip, which is based on a 7nm FinFET process and the same chipset found in the Huawei Nova 7i. It is paired with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage.
The specific model launched in the country is the BAH3-L09 that has a SIM slot and supports multiple band LTE connectivity, which allows users to be connected on the go. For home connection, it has a fast 802.11ac WiFi standard that supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band. It also has Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and GPS with A-GPS along with other positioning systems.
