With the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ohmyhome offers convenience with its services targeted to accelerate the process in the local real estate setting, including buying, selling, and renting properties in just a few clicks.

Ohmyhome is currently rolled out in Singapore and Malaysia, where the platform reaches up to 2,000 housing transactions per month and has so far garnered 300,000 application downloads. The app also has more than 175,000 active users and 15,000 unique listings of real estate properties.

According to Ohmyhome Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Rhonda Wong, the said app banks on bringing both a DIY platform for users coupled with professional agent services.

“We are very different from property classified platforms. Our focus is not on advertising but on helping customers transact,” Wong said.
“We take care of the entire transaction process—from search and deal-closing all the way through legal documentation and mortgage advisory—making it simple for both first time property buyers to seasoned investors to transact real estate,” she added.

The introduction of an innovative platform like Ohmyhome is apt in the Philippine setting with a booming real estate and property industry, as it provides ease from common problems related to acquiring properties like unreliable agents, complicated government processes, and the need to coordinate with multiple agencies.
