The Filipino homegrown brand that brought us affordable yet highly capable smartphones under Cherry Mobile has entered a major rebranding to transition into a firm that will bring products to make Filipino households have access to products for smart homes.

Now dubbed as CHERRY, the brand offers an array of products for home, health, and personal use, as well as pet essentials, that promote an ecosystem utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT). These include the Cherry Prepaid, Cherryroam, Cherry Home, and Cherry Pet, to name a few.

According to CHERRY founder and Chief Executive Officer Maynard S. Ngu, the company is optimistic about dominating the Philippine market to bring in relevant products that will improve the quality of life of the Filipinos.

“The new logo and name signify the start of the company’s mission to further reach out to our market through the same value-for-money and quality innovations that we’ve been offering since then. CHERRY will be the same brand that Filipinos have loved from the beginning. The brand has evolved and remains a proudly Filipino brand, for the Filipinos,” Ngu said.

CHERRY’s new logo is reminiscent of the Yin and Yang symbol, which Ngu describes as a symbol of balance, stability, strength, and unity. This redesigned logo was already imprinted on CHERRY’s latest products like the Cherry Ion Personal Wearable Air Purifier, the company’s contribution to help the public be more protected amid the new normal.

Apart from products anchored to give Filipinos affordable access to smart homes, CHERRY also has the Cherry Prepaid, which has been providing the public economical prepaid data services since 2015. CHERRY then expanded its offering to introduce Cherryroam, a travel WiFi roaming device that can be used for a stable and secured internet connection to over 160 countries worldwide.

“Our goal is to provide Filipinos with a diversified prepaid mobile service from data, call and text packages at affordable prices allowing them to be connected every day of the year”, Ngu said.
