| Ziktalk, Blockchain-Based Social Networking App, Hits 500,000 Users |
Since launching the latest app update on February 6th, Ziktalk, a blockchain-based social media company, has been on a roll. The social app for Ziktalk hit 200,000 users forty days after the update, 300,000 users 45 days later, and 500,000 users as of April 13th. By the end of June, Ziktalk plans to have a total of 1,000,000 users.
Ziktalk is a social networking site that brings people from all walks of life together. Ziktalk rewards users with tokens that can be traded for cash at a digital asset exchange by incorporating blockchain technology and social networking. Since the 500,000 users come from various language regions, users can sign up and form friendships with people from all over the world. Filipinos have been using Ziktalk to teach English to people of other nationalities since 2016.
"The Gen Z and millennial population want to meet friends from all over the world, particularly with COVID preventing users from meeting new people offline," Ziktalk CEO Abraham Shim said. Users can publish feed posts, interact with others, and communicate through text messages, video, and voice calls on Ziktalk's online platform. At the moment, our users are publishing about 5,000 feed updates every day."
