| Smart Promotes Data Adoption with the GigaLife App, which Surpassed 5M Monthly Active Users in Q1 |
As of the first quarter of this year, the GigaLife App, which provides Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, TNT, Smart Bro, and PLDT Prepaid Home WiFi members with a simple and straightforward method to manage their digital activities, had more than 5 million monthly active users. The GigaLife App may be downloaded via Google Play, Apple App Store, and Huawei Mobile Services.

Aside from providing users with access to their balance, account information, and billing statements, the GigaLife App also enables customers to take advantage of data promotions such as DOUBLE GIGA, which provides customers with twice the data for their daily passions and guarantees that data will be available EVERY DAY for their passions.
DOUBLE GIGA VIDEO 99, for example, now includes 2 GB of data per day for streaming on YouTube, Cignal Play, iWantTFC, and NBA League Pass, as well as 2 GB of open access data for Php99 valid for 7 days.
DOUBLE GIGA STORIES for more social media sharing; DOUBLE GIGA STUDY and DOUBLE GIGA WORK for more online productivity; and DOUBLE GIGA GAMES for more of today's top mobile games are also available to subscribers.
The GigaLife App also includes the country's first unlimited 5G offer, Unli 5G Data, and other unique data packages like All Data (shareable data for all sites) and Magic Data (non-expiring data for all sites).
The GigaLife App also allows users to participate in Smart's GigaPoints rewards program, making it easier for anyone to earn, accrue, and redeem exclusive benefits.
Network with a lot of awards
As determined by third-party analytics firms such as Ookla and Opensignal, Smart's fastest mobile network powers the GigaLife App.
Smart has been named the Philippines' fastest mobile data network for three years in a row by Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and research. Smart has also been declared the Philippines' fastest 5G network, continuously showing the top 5G speeds for Q1 2021. Smart also swept the independent analytics firm Opensignal's Philippines Mobile Network Experience Awards in April 2021, outperforming the competition in all three key characteristics of service: coverage (4G coverage experience, 4G availability), speed (download and upload speed), and experience (Games, Video and Voice app). This is the first time a Philippine operator has won all three categories decisively.
