PHYSICAL:

As expected, the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes in a mostly plastic build. However, Infinix added a nice touch on the smartphone’s rear cover to slightly level up its design. The back part of the Infinix Note 10 Pro has a two-toned panel with the upper half-dressed in a smooth slate and the lower half with a textured pattern. Its entire outer rear cover comes in a glossy finish, so it’s a fingerprint magnet. There's Infinix branding on the lower left side, and above it is the rectangular camera module.

Beautiful, light-colored smartphones are dominating the market nowadays. Joining the trend, Infinix offers the Note 10 Pro in a pretty lilac colorway and in an aurora-themed Nordic Secret variant. There’s also a black option for users who like to keep it minimalist.

On the left cheek of the device lies its SIM card tray that can carry two nano-sized SIM cards and a MicroSD card for storage expansion up to 512GB. The power button that also serves as a fingerprint scanner is on the opposite side alongside the volume rocker. Infinix keeps the top part of the smartphone clean, while at the bottom are the speaker grilles, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and primary microphone.

The Infinix Note 10 Pro is a relatively tall device. Although it’s light and easy to grip, the buttons on its upper sides seem to be placed awkwardly as they’re hard to reach in single-hand use.

DISPLAY:

For its display, the Infinix Note 10 Pro flaunts a 6.95-inch IPS display in 1080 x 2460 resolution. Despite being a budget device, the Infinix Note 10 Pro ditched the common waterdrop notch and utilized a hole-punch front camera mostly seen on mid-range devices.

What Infinix claims as a selling point of the Infinix Note 10 Pro is its 90Hz refresh rate, which in all fairness, does a good job in ensuring that the display of the device responds fast and smoothly.

Colors and image details displayed by the Infinix Note 10 Pro screen appear vivid and clear, enough to enjoy binge-watching sessions, thanks to its Full HD+ screen. This is complemented by the device's decent stereo speakers with DTS audio, making the Infinix Note 10 Pro a bang-for-the-buck multimedia smartphone.

For eye protection, Infinix also equipped the Infinix Note 10 Pro with TÃœV Rheinland Certified Low Blue Light Technology to reduce the production of harmful blue light that causes eye strain due to long hours of phone usage.

PERFORMANCE and BATTERY LIFE:

Infinix said that the Note 10 Pro has the best processor in the Note series with its MediaTek Helio G95 Octa-core chipset. This particular processor focuses more on providing a lag-free experience, and in this department, the Infinix Note 10 Pro delivered.

We enjoyed playing MOBA games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty: Mobile at decent graphics and audio settings without encountering any hiccups. The Infinix Note 10 Pro also gave us a smooth experience in multitasking and in frequent switching between several applications.

This smartphone is also generous in memory as it comes with 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the Infinix Note 10 Pro runs on Android 11 with version 7.6 of XOS, Infinix's own operating system. There are bloatwares out of the box, but you can easily uninstall them if you won't use them.

Here are the benchmark results of the Infinix Note 10 Pro to give you a more objective take on the performance of the said smartphone:

Since the Infinix Note 10 Pro carries a budget-friendly gaming chipset, its battery life is made to last long gaming hours and mobile productivity. In addition, it has the 33-watt X-Charge fast charging technology, which Infinix said provides 50 minutes faster charging time compared with the predecessor of the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

True enough, the 5,000mAh battery life of the Infinix Note 10 Pro is amazing. The smartphone entails around two hours to be fully charged. In addition, it also equates a 15-minute plugged time to 20 percent battery capacity. A single full charge of the Infinix Note 10 Pro lasted us a day and a half with moderate usage.

CAMERA:

In terms of imaging, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is equipped with four cameras with AI -- a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and two 2-megapixel shooters each for black and white and portrait modes, plus a quad rear flash. The punch hole front camera we mentioned earlier, meanwhile, is for a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The images taken by rear cameras of the Infinix Note 10 Pro look good and have just the right amount of detail, sharpness, and color saturation. Selfies, on the other hand, mostly needed some tweaking to make the lighting look more natural. Here are some samples we captured:
