Epson PU2200 Series; World’s Smallest and Lightest 20K Lumens Laser Projector

Three new high-brightness projectors in the Epson PU2200 series are now available, with lumen outputs ranging from 13,000 to 20,000. The EB-PU2220B is the world's smallest and lightest 20,000lm projector. The PU2200 projector line has a cutting-edge frame and a unique liquid cooling system. The EB-PU2220B projector is meant to be 64% smaller and more compact than its predecessor, the EB-L20000UNL, and to deliver excellent image quality at resolutions that exceed Full HD with support for 4K enhancement.

The PU2200 series high brightness projectors are built with cutting-edge technology, and Epson's proven track record for visual excellence allows them to meet consumers' expanding demands in education, businesses, museums, and tourist attractions.

Novel features

The sophisticated features of the PU2200 series projectors, such as scene adaptive gamma correction, 4K enhancement technology, and upgraded optical components, allow users to enjoy amazing image quality at high resolutions with the potential for a richer texture and greater image clarity. Native contrasts can also be increased thanks to the better-compensating plate. Darker colors are more accurate, and brighter scenes can now be adjusted to appear more equally dispersed on the screen. Furthermore, the new model covers about 92% of RGB, boosting visual representation accuracy.

Enhanced Capabilities

Other characteristics include an integrated high-efficiency laser light source that can operate for up to 20,000 hours and a sophisticated liquid cooling system that cools the optical engines and laser light source units while allowing for a more compact product design. The improved laser has the same brightness as previous models but a one-third lower footprint than a standard laser bank.

more flexibility and dependability

Furthermore, Epson designed this projector range to be versatile and sturdy enough to withstand the demands of live performances and exhibitions. Furthermore, the new series was evaluated by a third-party testing institution and received the IP5X dustproof certification for sealed optical engines and light source modules.

Furthermore, the PU2200 series projectors include an embedded NFC feature that allows users to access setup options without turning on the projector at all.

"Epson's new PU2200 series high brightness projectors aim to deliver the most immersive, high-quality visual experiences to its viewers while allowing for increased flexibility and a smaller footprint for ease of transportation and installation," says Ed Bonoan, General Manager of Marketing Division at Epson Philippines. "We are delighted that developments in laser technology have enabled us to commercialize this device."

The PU2200 series projectors have been available in the Philippines since November 2022. For additional information, please visit epson.com.ph or contact your local Epson Authorized Partner.
