“We at OPPO are so excited to be introducing the latest addition to The Portrait Expert series, the OPPO Reno8 T,” shares Joanarc Sales, OPPO Philippines’ Head of CRM and Public Relations. “In keeping with our commitment to providing our users superior imaging and performance capabilities in our devices, the new OPPO Reno8 T is a breakthrough product that promises an extraordinary, all-round smartphone experience.”

The OPPO Reno8 T is the first phone in the Reno series, with a 32MP Selfie Camera, a 100MP Portrait Camera, and a 2MP Microlens with 20x or 40x magnification. Users can use the 100MP Portrait Camera to capture high-quality portraits and have the flexibility to crop and enlarge photographs to rethink their images while collecting more clarity and detail.

The OPPO Reno8 T's Microlens also gives users unprecedented access to microscopic photography capabilities, allowing them to capture astounding visual images that are normally hidden in plain sight via 40-times magnification.

A range of high-end imaging technologies, such as AI Portrait Super Resolution, Bokeh Flare Portrait, Selfie HDR, and Flash Snapshot, is also included to allow users to fully capture the world through breathtaking, expert-quality images.

The OPPO Reno8 T comes in two new colors: Sunset Orange and Midnight Black while keeping the Reno series' signature design cues.

Impressive, immersive: Why the OPPO A77s should be your go-to device for gaming and productivity

Sunset Orange, a vibrant orange color tone with a fine leather texture, was created using a more advanced Fiberglass-Leather Design. The back cover's Fiberglass-Leather Design employs a unique approach to eliminate plastic edging, resulting in a lighter and thinner body than typical battery covers that mimic leather. This design offers a luxury experience with a cohesive design brought on by more softened edges without sacrificing durability. The super-premium appearance is inspired by high-end leather items, with a textured pattern that simulates the appearance of leather stitching using an embossing method used for the first time on Reno8 T.

The Midnight Black edition, on the other hand, features an enhanced version of OPPO Glow, which provides the phone with a silky-smooth feel.

A decorative reflective ring has been added to the camera module to give it a shinier appearance that recalls stars flashing in the depths of the universe. The updated OPPO Orbit Light also includes eight distinct notification settings, each of which can be personalized with eight different colors.

The OPPO Reno8 T's Midnight Black weighs around 180 g and has a thickness of 7.80 mm, whereas Sunset Orange weighs about 183 g and has a thickness of 7.85 mm.

OPPO thoroughly revised the Reno8 T's performance and included several features to help customers have a more enjoyable experience for a more extended period. One of these is OPPO's Dynamic Computing Engine, which provides a smoother and more stable operating system to dramatically improve the user experience. OPPO Labs has specifically tested the Reno8 T for 48-Month Fluency Protection to ensure that it maintains high operational fluency even after four years of use.

Because of its high-capacity 5000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOCTM charging technology, the Reno8 T can be fully charged from zero to one hundred percent in just 67 minutes, or it can deliver 2.01 hours of talk time in just five minutes. It comes standard with 256GB of flash storage and 8GB of RAM, but users can add up to 8GB more RAM using OPPO's RAM Expansion technology.

The 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate on the Reno8 T gives outstanding visual enjoyment. A Dual Stereo Speaker with built-in Ultra Volume Mode enhances the maximum volume by 40% for a more immersive gaming and movie experience.

ColorOS 13, which runs on the Reno8 T, offers users even more sophisticated features in a compact, practical, and secure Android environment.

Users may now control Spotify via the Always-On Display without unlocking their phones, picking playlists from the recommendations section, or playing or pausing music. Furthermore, instead of switching between apps, Screen Translate created with Google Lens, can now translate the content of a whole screen with a single click from the sidebar menu.

Security and privacy have been heavily updated in the most recent version of ColorOS 13. Auto Pixelate will automatically identify and pixelate key information on screenshots of chat messages with a single click, and the Private Safe has been upgraded to reduce the risk of losing or leaking password-protected information.
