TikTok, Smart, Launch The Greatest Gamer Philippines, a Reality Show to Search for the Philippines' Next Esports Superstar
TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, is partnering with Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), Smart Omega, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to launch The Greatest Gamer Philippines, a reality show that will search for the Philippines' next esports superstar.

The Greatest Gamer Philippines will be a three-week competition that will feature 10 aspiring professional gamers. The contestants will live in a villa together and compete in a series of challenges that will test their gaming skills, teamwork, and creativity. The winner of The Greatest Gamer Philippines will receive a cash prize of Php250,000 and a contract with Smart Omega, one of the Philippines' top esports teams.

"This is a great opportunity to showcase the passion and talent of Filipino gamers, and we are confident that the winner of this competition will become a true esports superstar."
The Greatest Gamer Philippines will be available to watch on TikTok. To audition, aspiring professional gamers can submit a video of themselves playing MLBB on TikTok using the official audition filter and hashtag #TheGreatestGamerPH. Auditions will be open from May 24 to June 14, 2023.

The Greatest Gamer Philippines is part of TikTok's commitment to supporting the growth of esports in the Philippines. In 2021, TikTok partnered with Smart to launch the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 8, which was the most-watched esports tournament in the Philippines to date.
