The vivo V29e 5G also made its way to the Philippines alongside the vivo V29 5G last September 2023, continuing vivo's tradition of including a more affordable "e" variant for its top-of-the-line V-number series devices. And now, it is more budget-friendly as vivo slashed 2,000 pesos off its price tag.

The vivo V29e 5G boasts the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate as its sibling, albeit the resolution is slightly lower at 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is also powered by a 6nm Qualcomm chip, this time around, it is Snapdragon 695 5G instead of the 778G 5G found on its brother. The good news is that both devices have a whopping 12GB of RAM. Storage-wise, there is plenty of space to store photos, videos, and apps with its 256GB expandable memory.
The device features a dual 64MP rear camera system. That is actually one less camera on its back compared to its vivo v27e 5G predecessor, the depth and macro are out of the picture and replaced with an 8MP ultrawide module. On the front, you’ll find a 50MP selfie snapper, a welcome upgrade from the 32MP of its older brother.

Of course, as the name implies, it supports 5G connectivity for faster download and upload speed. Other notable features are Hi-Res audio, an under-display fingerprint sensor, runs on Funtouch 13, and a thin 7.6mm profile.
