Traditional ways of working are changing because of the digital change, which is being driven by progress in analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT). The goal of CHEDx 2023 was to strengthen the ties between academics, the IT and IT-BPM industries, and the workforce, making it easier for people with the right skills to find work. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country were invited to the summit, along with graduating IT students, teachers, and administrators.

Higher education institutions play a big part in encouraging innovation, supporting innovators, and turning out grads who can make important contributions to a world connected by technology. A distinguished group of experts and thought leaders spoke at the event, giving their thoughts on how to navigate the complicated technological revolution that is currently happening.

A lawyer named Atty. Cinderella Filipina Jaro opened CHEDx 2023, and CHED Chairman J. Prospero De Vera gave the opening speech. Respected IT leaders gave informative talks over the course of two days on a wide range of topics, from improving IT skills and cybersecurity to AI and sustainability.

There was also an exhibition area at the summit with new goods and services from Globe Telecom, IBM, Accenture, Alibaba, and other well-known companies and institutions known as Centers of Excellence in IT. People who came could also benefit from speed mentoring classes put on by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines.

As the digital workplace changes, CHEDx 2023's main goal was to make sure that academic programs are in line with those changes, to make sure that graduates are ready to work, and to encourage relationships between businesses and higher education institutions to close the skills gap. The event was a big step toward a more flexible program, strong graduate development, and working together to create a skilled and flexible workforce.

The successful end of CHEDx 2023 makes way for more summits in the future, as we continue to change with technology and work to make society more linked and tech-savvy.
