The event will take place from June 5th to June 7th, 2024, and up to 4,000 people from all over the country and Southeast Asia are expected to attend. Hundreds of exhibitors from around the world and around the region will show off the newest products and solutions in the auto parts business, which is changing quickly.
"The APVE Philippines is a key platform that brings together business leaders, government officials, buyers, and sellers to find untapped growth opportunities in the auto parts sector," said Rungphech "Rose" Chitanuwat, General Manager in the Philippines of Informa Markets, which put on the trade show.
The APVE also makes sense in a number of connected fields, including agriculture, construction, mining, logistics, transportation, and logistics. As more and more people buy cars, the auto parts industry in the country is set to grow a lot.
Informa Markets to Host First-Ever Auto Parts & Vehicles Expo in the Philippines
In 2023, car sales in the Philippines rose by 21.9 percent, selling a record 429,807 units. This was more than the industry's yearly sales goal of 423,000 units and even more than the levels seen before the pandemic.
Over 250 businesses in the area make and import up to 330 different types of car parts and components, and the industry is still growing. The APVE also focuses on suppliers and spare parts for the country's fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) sector. This sector has been going up since Republic Act 11697, the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), was signed into law.
The first APVE Philippines is more than just a trade show; it also hosts important conferences and seminars for important partners. There will be talks about possible tax breaks for investors, the current state of the Philippine Electric Vehicle Industry, strategic partnerships in the industry, and the latest trends in cars.
