Synology Showcases Advanced Data Protection, Data Management, and Surveillance Solutions at Synology Solution Exhibition 2024

The Synology Solution Exhibition 2024 will be the only place where you can get an early look at Synology's cutting edge data protection, data management, and monitoring solutions. Three new product lines will be shown off at the event: ActiveProtect data protection appliances, the GS series scale-out data storage and control platform, and cloud cameras powered by Synology C2.

Philip Wong, Founder and Chairman of Synology, said, "In this fast-paced digital era, the ability to store, process, and use data will determine the leaders of the future." "At Synology, our commitment is to empower our users to achieve this through our unwavering pursuit of innovation and expansion in all sectors."

ActiveProtect data protection appliances are now available.

When it comes to deployment and sizing, ActiveProtect data protection tools are designed to make things easier. In less than 10 minutes, organizations can finish setting up the software, make global protection plans, and start protecting their work from ransomware and other threats.

ActiveProtect lets you handle up to 2,500 multiserver and multisite deployments from a single, unified panel. It enforces policies for immutability, retention, and protection across all of these deployments.

ActiveProtect appliances promise top-notch backup and disaster recovery speed with little management work. They do this by having a global immutability architecture, a better backup engine, and support for source-side global deduplication.

GS Series Scale-Out Data Storage and Management Platform is being shown off.

The new GS series from Synology is a platform for storing and managing large amounts of data. It is powered by a design that is both efficient and scalable. With up to 96 nodes, GS clusters can handle both file and object protocols. They can offer raw storage sizes of up to 20 PB and up to 150,000 connections for Synology Drive and Office at the same time to meet growing storage and productivity needs.

Managing GS series clusters will be a lot easier for businesses and big organizations with a new scalable operating system made to keep operations running smoothly and data-safe.

Video Surveillance as a Service at C2 Surveillance Station

The C2 Surveillance Station and the C2 cameras that go with it offer more ways to use safe cloud video surveillance, adding to Synology's surveillance ecosystem. C2 cameras can be set up quickly, which makes tracking harder to do in places where local recording servers can't be put in.

The C2 Surveillance Station and C2 cameras will have a lot of privacy and safety features. Multi-layer end-to-end encryption from the camera to the viewer makes sure that only authorized users with the encryption key can watch the movies. Edge AI makes sure that people, cars, and intrusions are found quickly and precisely where they are.

The stand-alone C2 Surveillance Station option from Synology is set to come out later in 2024. The current C2 Surveillance service, which records on-premises NVRs in a mixed cloud, will be renamed C2 Backup for Surveillance to make it easier to find.
