When the Ayala Malls Manila Bay EV Charging Center opened, CEO of ACMobility Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said, "We are moving toward a more sustainable future." "This initiative falls in line with ACMobility's commitment to cultivate an EV ecosystem that enriches the lives of Filipinos and contributes to national sustainability goals."
ACMobility, which used to be called AC Motors, has come a long way from just selling and spreading cars to building a full mobility platform with digital and physical solutions. With this change, ACMobility is now at the top of the EV industry in the Philippines, leading the way for many people to buy EVs.
The Philippines' electric vehicle (EV) market is currently facing problems, including "range anxiety," which makes it hard for many people to use EVs. ACMobility wants to fix this by building a strong ecosystem with high-value electric vehicles, infrastructure, and services that make the switch to electric cars easier.

The Ayala Malls Manila Bay EV Charging Center, which is close to the Almario Road parking area, shows how much ACMobility cares about the EV community. The center has three 22kW AC chargers that work with Type 2 and GB/T charge ports, as well as a 120kW DC fast charger that can charge two cars at the same time. This center can charge up to five cars at the same time and works with a wide range of EVs, from personal cars to public buses.
To make things better for users, ACMobility has teamed up with Evro, an e-Mobility Service Provider supported by 917Ventures, the Globe Group's tech innovation arm. The Evro app makes charging easier by finding charging stations nearby, showing which chargers are available and compatible, letting you manage charging sessions from afar, and letting you pay without cash.
Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility, welcomed potential partners who share the company's goal for sustainable mobility with open arms. "The roll-out of new charging centers and innovative infrastructure solutions underscores our dedication to offering a seamless, user-friendly charging experience for EV owners."
With a big plan that includes setting up charging stations for electric vehicles all over the country, ACMobility wants to help the EV community grow. The company has 70 charging stations spread out across 31 sites across the country. To make this vision come true, it will be very important for the public, private, and government sectors to work together strategically. Regulatory support and policy frameworks will also help the growth of EV infrastructure.
The Ayala Group strongly backs ACMobility's goal, which shows how everyone is working together to make transportation in the Philippines more sustainable. "We know about more than 100 charging stations that will be fully operational by the end of 2024 across the country." "We want to thank our partners for always being there for us as we continue to change the rules for mobility in the Philippines," Zobel said.
The new ACMobility EV Charging Center at Ayala Malls Manila Bay is open to people who already own electric vehicles. Please go to https://acmobility.ph/ to learn more about ACMobility and its offerings.
