Personal AI Use Driving Workplace Confidence Among Filipino Professionals, Salesforce Study Reveals
New research from Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), the global leader in AI CRM, suggests that the surge in AI adoption within the Philippines is being led from the bottom up. According to a survey conducted by YouGov, knowledge workers in the country are gaining trust and confidence in AI tools through personal use rather than corporate mandates.

The study, unveiled at the Agentforce World Tour Manila 2026, reveals that 68% of Filipino knowledge workers feel more comfortable using AI at work because of their personal experience with the technology.
The Rise of the AI-Fluent Workforce
The transition toward an "Agentic Enterprise"—where humans and AI agents work in tandem—is already underway in the Philippines. The data shows a significant shift in worker sentiment:
- Trust & Confidence: 70% of respondents stated that personal AI use has bolstered their confidence in professional AI applications. This trend is strongest among Gen Z, with 74% reporting a positive correlation between personal use and workplace trust.
- Automation vs. Augmentation: 45% of workers expect to use AI to both automate repetitive tasks and augment their creative capabilities.
- Top Benefits: Workers cited quick access to information (53%), communication assistance (49%), and brainstorming/overcoming creative blocks (44%) as the primary advantages of AI.
Addressing the Skills and Knowledge Gap
Despite high enthusiasm, a critical gap remains in formal training. While nearly all surveyed workers expect to use AI agents, many organizations have yet to implement comprehensive AI-fluency programs.

Empowering the Agentic Enterprise
Salesforce emphasizes that for businesses in the Philippines to fully unlock the value of AI, they must prioritize developing an AI-fluent workforce. By integrating humans, AI agents, and data on a unified platform, organizations can move beyond basic automation toward true innovation.
"The time is ripe for enterprises in the Philippines to drive AI adoption," Salesforce noted. With trust already established through personal curiosity, the focus now shifts to how companies can provide the structured environment needed to turn that confidence into business growth.
Methodology
This study was conducted by YouGov in early 2026, surveying 1,057 full-time knowledge workers across the Philippines. The respondent pool included a diverse mix of Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X professionals across sectors such as finance, IT, healthcare, and marketing.
