We received the latter as our demo unit, and immediately loved its shimmering matte rear panel that does a great job of resisting fingerprint smudges. When light hits the surface at different angles, the finish reveals a subtle yet striking shimmer that adds more character to the design.

Despite its plastic build, the realme 16 5G still feels surprisingly premium in the hand.
