Today it is not only the local brands that are flooding the local market with cheap quad core devices, even the BIG 3 from China are also here to compete. Huawei, Lenovo and ZTE are Chinese phone manufacturers that belongs to the top 5 producers of mobile phone in the world. All of them released their budget quad core in the Philippines to gain more traction in an already saturated competition.


Below are the specs of the three Android phones:


As what we can see, they have similar specs. The ZTE Blade E loses points for having 512MB of RAM and 1600mAh battery but bounce back a bit from being the cheapest. The Huawei G525 won a point for having a sharper screen while the Lenovo got one for packing a larger battery. All phones use an S4 Play chipset which we all know is inferior to MediaTek MT6589 that most local flagship phones are using. So are you going to buy these Chinese phones or will you stick to local branding?

  1. I recently bought ZTE v956 and it already has a flash feature. It is also priced at P6500.
