| O+ 8.96, 5-inch Quad Core for Php4,395 |
Apart from the O+ 360 Alpha Plus that was accidentally revealed on an automated email, O+ USA also officially announced another latest smartphone on their Facebook page, the O+ 8.96.
The O+ 8.96 sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen of unknown resolution powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz each. The chipset brand is not listed, but most probably it will be the MediaTek MT6582. The RAM and ROM were also not shown, but more or less it will have at least 512MB of RAM and at least 4GB of ROM.

Meanwhile, the camera department employs 5MP shooter at the back accompanied by a dual LED flash and a 2MP snapper in the front for selfies and video calls. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and retails for only Php4,395 plus it comes with a free 8GB of micro SD card.
