Earlier today, I was in SM Manila and as usual, I roam around the Cyberzone area to look for the latest gadget available in the market. Luckily, my efforts paid off as I found the newest smartphone offering from a local brand, the Firefly Mobile Intense Power.
The Firefly Mobile Intense Power sports a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution, IPS and OGS technology plus a scratch-resistant glass on top care of Asahi Dragontrail. On the inside, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The chipset is unknown, but since it uses ARMv7 32-bit, most probably it will be MediaTek MT6582.

At the back of the phone, you will find the SONY IMX164 main camera with 13MP resolution accompanied by high-power LED flash. Meanwhile, the one in the front boasts an 8MP BSI front camera for taking awesome selfies. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, supports HSPA+ connectivity and has power-amp for flawless audio.

The above specs are not the highlight of the Intense Power, instead the main selling point is its massive 5000mAh battery, which according to Firefly Mobile is removable, making it one of the few devices available locally to have that feature. It is now available for purchase with a retail price tag of Php3,999 and comes with a free clear case, tempered glass and a basic phone worth 399 pesos.
