|Fitbit Adventures; Experience Iconic Landmarks and Destinations in Every Step|
Fitbit has just upgraded their mobile app with interactive Adventures which contain non-competitive activities that motivates users to move more to attain their fitness goals. As users keep on moving, they can also enjoy a virtual tour of iconic locations such as Yosemite National Park’s Valley Loop, Vemal Falls, and Pohono Trail or activities such as the TCS New York City Marathon as they increase their daily activity.
These two Adventures, photographed by the award-winning Chris Bukard, are the first in the series of challenges that Fitbit is developing. In the future, users will be able to update the app and experience Adventures with other destinations or activities all over the world. All of these options are rendered in an interactive interface that lets you track your progress in the trail using your daily step count.
As you go along you can discover interesting twists such as multi-day trails, daily destinations that gradually increase to inspire you to move more, and images of landmarks that adjust with your mobile device screen. Treasures such as mini challenges and fitness tips are also up for grabs. Fitbit Adventures is now available through the free Fitbit app for Android, iOs, and Windows devices. This is also compatible with the company’s activity tracking products such as Fitbit Charge 2 and Fitbit Flex 2.
