| Starmobile UP Prime Unveiled; 700MHz LTE-Compatible Android Nougat for Php3,990 |
Filipino tech brand Starmobile has introduced its newest smartphone, the UP Prime – a sleek and smooth device that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The 700MHz LTE-compatible smartphone comes with a 5-inch 2.5D curved screen, and is equipped with 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. On the inside, it is powered by 1.25GHz quad core MediaTek MT6737, similar chipset found on Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime, paired with 1GB of RAM and has 16GB memory that can be expanded up to 32GB.
“The Starmobile UP Prime is meant for students and professionals who want to stay on top of their tasks while staying connected with their loved ones,” Starmobile Product Development Head Michael Chen said.
The UP Prime allows users to multitask through its split-screen feature that lets users watch videos while texting or playing music, while browsing the internet. Users can then switch back and forth seamlessly between their favorite features with its customizable toggle menus.

Priced at Php3,990, the Starmobile UP Prime will be available this month in champagne and dark grey variants.
