Kata F1 Spotted, Android KitKat Smartphone For HKD790 |
Yesterday, we posted an article about Android KitKat coming to Kata Digital. That time we were not yet sure what it is, but now we know and it is a smartphone - the Kata F1.
Owtel Shop Hong Kong, the mother company of Kata Digital, announced on their Facebook page the pre-order of the Kata F1. It cost HKD790 or about 4500 pesos when converted to our currency with free screen protect, case and 5GB cloud storage.
This dual SIM dual standby phohe sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with qHD (960x540) resolution, has 8MP main camera at the back, 5MP in the front and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
There was no mention about the RAM, ROM and CPU, but with this price tag we believed it will have a dual core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM.

good buy if around 4.5k. hopefully above 2000 mAh. gorilla glass or dragontrail would be nice though.

ReplyDeleteWow, this sure looks gorgeous, I'm eyeing on that yellow one. The price is okay for me since I don't just consider the design but its functionality as well.. :D
ReplyDeleteI've tried it at sm manila, during their unboxing, it's pretty cool, it impressively could run heavy gaming apps. two thumbs up for Kata! looking forward to purchasing it some time this year.
