| Vivo V5 Lands in the Philippines for Php12,990; Boast 20MP "Perfect Selfie" Camera |
Last night, Vivo Philippines officially joined the war for the ultimate selfie smartphone, and if megapixel count is the only basis, their offering is a clear winner - the Vivo V5.
The Vivo V5 is the world's first Android phone to sport a massive 20-megapixel front camera, highest resolution available to date! The selfie shooter is co-developed with Sony and uses one their powerful sensor, which is the IMX376. It also has an f/2.0 aperture, its own LED flash and a beautification app that allows users to take their perfect selfies. Meanwhile, the main snapper mounted on the back is equipped with 13MP module with phase-detection auto focus and accompanied by an LED flash.
In terms of processing muscles, this 5.5-inch dual SIM handset got an octa core processor clocked up to 1.5GHz coupled with a huge 4GB of RAM and ample 32GB of expandable storage. Other notable specs are High Fidelity audio brought by AKM AK4376 DAC, fast fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button, 3000mAh battery and runs on Fun Touch OS 2.6 based on Android Marshmallow.
It has a retail price tag of Php12,990, which is exactly the same with its direct competitor, OPPO F1s. It is now up for pre-order, wherein buyers who will reserve their units will get free Vivo Speakers, Vivo Selfie Stick and Vivo-branded phone stent. It will be available starting November 26 in all Vivo stores, dealers as well as online through Argomall.
